The fine print, kept plain.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use PureFaith. The app addresses sensitive subject matter and is not appropriate for minors.

2. The service

PureFaith is a faith-based habit and accountability app focused on freedom from pornography addiction. It is a self-help tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are in crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or a trusted person in your life.

3. Your account

• You may create an account anonymously or with an email and password.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Your Data → Delete My Account. This is permanent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate another user.
• Post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or that promotes self-harm.
• Attempt to break our security model, reverse-engineer our servers, or interfere with other users' use of the app.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Premium plans (monthly, annual, lifetime) are sold via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple — not us — processes payment.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling is as easy as subscribing. In the app: Profile → Settings → Manage or Cancel Subscription opens Apple's subscription screen directly — same number of taps it took to start, with no email, phone call, or retention interview. You can also use iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep access through the period you've already paid for.
• You get a renewal reminder. The app notifies you three days before each renewal with the date and how to cancel, and shows your renewal date in subscription settings. Apple also emails a receipt for every charge.
• Introductory free trials, when offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before then.
• Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple directly via reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. User-generated content

When you post a victory, send encouragement to a partner, or contribute to a brotherhood prayer wall, you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit the content for the purpose of running the app. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Intellectual property

PureFaith, the PureFaith brand, the devotional plan content, and the in-app graphics are our intellectual property. Scripture quotations are used under fair-use and standard public-domain conventions (the underlying Biblical text is public domain; specific translations may have their own usage requirements which we honor).

8. Disclaimers

• The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee specific outcomes. Recovery from addiction is a personal journey and varies between individuals.
• We are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or pastoral care.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll surface a notice in the app on next launch and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after the update means you accept the change.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
